If you have been following the blog for sometime then you already know that I have penchant for fashion, food and exploring new places. Britain is known for it’s awesome markets and coincidently I love markets and everything about it i.e the atmosphere, the hustle & bustle, people and ofcourse the food. Previously I posted about Winchester market and Camden market, and now this is the time for the most famous food market in the country; THE BOROUGH MARKET.
The market is right outside the London Bridge station and has everything it promises, all varieties of food i.e freshly prepared fast food from all parts of the world, fresh meat and fish, exotic fruits and vegetable, cheese and then my favourite…ta da zillion varieties of cakes, puddings, tarts, merengue and cookies.
So without further ado let me tell you what we did at the market. Do I have to state the obvious? Ofcourse we ate! We started early from home as we wanted to reach there early before all the crowd gathered. As somebody famous once said “Where there is a will, there is a way”, we reached early, bought what we wanted and had till the stomach was ready to burst. We ended our delicious meal with an almond tart. My mouth is watering thinking about all those amazing tastes and smells in the market.
Now coming to what I wore, I just wanted to be as comfortable and warm as possible. So I opted for thick jeans and boots along with a quilted jacket.
